This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use Unleash — including the Venture Assessment tool — why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
Unleash Ventures ("Unleash", "we", "us") is operated by PAS Ventures GmbH, Tempelherrenstraße 6, 10961 Berlin, Germany. We are the responsible party (POPIA) / data controller (GDPR) for the personal information described here.

You choose what to share. Nothing in the assessment leaves your device until you click "send".
We use your information to review your venture for possible mentorship, introductions or investment within Unleash, and to communicate with you about it. Our lawful bases are your consent (which you give before sending) and our legitimate interest in assessing and supporting founders. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Section 7).
We do not sell your personal information. We use a small number of trusted service providers (operators / processors) who process data on our behalf under contractual data-protection terms:

Your assessment is also emailed to the Unleash team (Phil and Nicolene) so we can review and respond.
Because some providers above are outside South Africa and the EU (mainly the USA), your information may be transferred and processed internationally. We rely on your consent and on the providers' standard contractual data-protection safeguards for these transfers, as permitted under POPIA (Section 72) and the GDPR (Chapter V).
Your in-progress draft is stored only in your own browser and auto-deletes after 30 days. You can clear it sooner by selecting "start over".
Your submitted assessment is stored securely by Unleash and kept until you ask us to delete it, so we can follow up with you about your venture.
Under POPIA and the GDPR you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; have it corrected; have it deleted; object to or restrict its processing; withdraw consent; and request a copy in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email pas@pas-ventures.com and we'll action it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a regulator — the Information Regulator (South Africa) or your local EU data protection authority.
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted to the Unleash team, our service credentials are stored securely server-side (never in your browser), and the service is rate-limited and origin-locked against abuse.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
